I'm doing well. Recovery this time around has been WAY easier than with DS. For the most part, anyway.
Eve is also doing great. She's a pretty relaxed baby. She's a good sleeper and a good eater. Big brother is beginning to enjoy showing her attention, which is a little scary because an (almost) two year old doesn't always understand the concept of gentle. We're working on it!
We are doing fantastic. Dillon had his last chest xray on Thursday and it came back clear so we are out of the woods for lung infections and breathing problems!!!!!!
I am healing quite well. I still haven't been able to sleep in bed, but that is mainly because of a gassy cranky baby more than pain. I have been keeping a 3rd shift schedule since little man likes to stay up and look around from 12-3AM. Hubby has been off work and takes the morning shift for me. We are trying to get Dillon's days and nights organized before he goes back.
Here are a few pictures of Dillon. One is the last day in the hospital when we were being released. Then, there is one with Ryan and one with Samantha. They are absolutely in love with their baby brother and already try to spoil him rotten.
I hope the momma's still waiting have smooth an easy labors and deliveries. I can't wait to see all the little ones pictures <3
Luyando (means love in dh's language) and I are doing fabulous. I left the hospital the next day after delivery (I hate hospitals). My mom and aunt are here (in addition to dh) so its not been too difficult. My aunt keeps the baby at night. I wake up only to pump or breastfeed if baby is up. Lolu, my older dd, is doing great and adjusting well to baby. She still wants a lot of attention from me but she is realizing mummy has to share the time between her and baby sister. Luyando is a great baby eats, sleeps, and poops a lot. She barely has a total of 4 waking hours yet. Did I say she eats, poops, and sleeps (not necessarily in that order) all the time? She is a loud crier when you want to change her or if she has a dirty diaper otherwise you won't hear a peep from her. So far she is a sweet sweet baby. Hope to take more recent pics soon. And mommy is enjoying cow duty; milk has arrived in full force and I am already storing because I have more than she can finish
P/S We went to see the pediatrician the day after we were released from the hospital just because they wanted her checked up at 48 hours since we left after 24 hours of delivery. Se had gained 3oz 2 days after birth. Since she is a tiny thing, I hope she continues to gain well.
Its been so exciting to read all the new babies being born. Hope all our DDC moms have a smooth and safe delivery. Can't wait to see who is next.
We are doing good as well. Reed has had some issues with his days and nights, but I am happy to say we finally got him to sleep at 1 am this morning and he didn't wake up again until 5:30. My boobs woke me up first LOL I thought I was going to pop before I could get him fed. He finished around 6 and we all slept until 9 so we had a pretty good night! I try keeping him up more during the day, but it is hard.
I have recovered very well! I am off my percecet (SPELL?) I do still take motrin as needed. The girls and daddy are in love with him so that makes things much easier!
