If you are planning a hospital or birth centre birth, do you still have a bag to pack? I think I am going to start that today. I'm not packing much since we won't be staying long after baby is born. Maybe this will help me feel more prepared!

I have all the items that need to be packed in a pile, they are just not in a bag yet.
Which I should probably do today since I'm being induced tomorrow lol.

I'm finishing that up today as I will need it for tomorrow! The thing is, here in California the policy is changing from2-3 days in the hospital for a c-section to 5 days but not ALL insurance companies have caught up to that policy yet. That's what the hospital told us in the tour. So, I really don't know how much to pack! We live about 3 miles from the hospital so hubby can easily go home to get stuff I may need. Anyone bringing their prenatal vitamins???? Are we supposed to continue vitamins if BF??

Yep, keep taking your vitamins until you are done BFing! I would probably make DH go home and get stuff if you are that close. Then you don't have to carry a whole suitcase with you!

I finished it up a few days ago. I will have some last minute things to throw in but can't do that until we need to leave to have the baby. I made the baby's take home outfit on Wednesday so once that was done my bag was pretty much done.

I am proud to say I have packed my bags! One is clothing, the other is toiletries and snacks...with extra room for items from the hospital.

Can we see a pic of the outfit?? We will be bringing baby home in the same outfit as DD. I just need to find the bottoms. It was way too big on her but my mom bought it and it is so cute. It's a cream coloured knit kimono top and footed bottoms. Good for a boy or a girl

I wish I could take a picture but my camera broke Friday afternoon and we don't have one now. Well we have dh's phone but he's a work. And I did find an older, crappy point and shoot but don't have the cord for it to actually upload any pictures. I have an AMAZING friend who is sending me her point and shoot that they don't use so when it arrives I'll definitely take a picture then. As done as I feel I now have motivation to want her to stay in til we have a camera! lol

I just finished last night. Still waiting on a nursing gown in the mail and then I'll throw in last minute things like my pillow, laptop and charger, phone and glasses. Today's to do are install the carseat, rewash the cosleeper fabric after we all had the flu, and then we will be ready!!

I won't be able to really pack it until I'm actually in labor.. A lot of the things I'm packing I still use on a daily basis. Makeup, shampoo, computer, chargers, camera, pillow, etc.

I tried to pack it like a week ago and realized it was pointless because I'm leaving so much stuff out anyways I just mine as well do it the day I gotta go lol

I just packed everything I can, yesterday. The rest of the stuff has to wait until I go into labor (toiletries, cameras, cell phone, etc.).

I have a few things mainly travel size toiletries in my bag already. I don't have many maternity clothes so I am waiting until closer to hospital time to throw everything else in the bag.
