I swear this kid is just messing with me. I was convinced that he would come at any time and then I stopped getting contractions. Once I'd resigned myself to the idea of him camping out for a couple more weeks, the contractions and cramping started up again. Last night, it was almost constant but calmed down some after I took a warm bath and went away when I laid down to sleep.

This morning, I had a little bit of cramping and now it is starting to pick up again. I feel like I can't get anything done because I am so uncomfortable. Most of the pain is in my back and every now and then I have a weak contraction that I can feel in the front which isn't really that bad but on top of that, is all the pressure I feel because he is so low right now. When I stand up, it feels like he could just fall out at any minute.

I'm hoping things will either pick up or calm down because this in-between not-in-labor-but-still-contracting kind of sucks...

You pretty much just described how I feel to a tee!!! I'm sorry, it does suck! Our kids can drive us crazy before they are even born =)

I liked this only because I am feeling the exact same way as you. My cramping and backache are constant right now. Bringing tears to my eyes it hurts so bad. I'm contemplating heading in to see if it doing anything. My kids are having lunch right now but after i may go in. Unfortunately for me, when I took a warm bath a little while ago, it didn't calm down at all and I've been having painful contractions on and off as well to go with it all.... Hope we can all find relief soon and deliver healthy babies.

Krista, if it didn't go away with the bath you're prob in early labor
