Has anyone had this on their breast? I am not seeing any signs of it in Reeds mouth, but my nipples and my areola are super sore and red. They were a little better and now super sore again. I am trying to figure out if maybe it is thrush. I would think Reed would have it in his mouth right?
I think it's possible to have it and their mouths not show it, at least not yet. Another symptom that I usually get when I'm battling it is shooting, stabbing pain in my breasts. I hope that it's not thrush though It can be so painful and it's a pain to get rid of, at least in my experience with the other kids. I tend to battle yeast when I'm breastfeeding, not sure why because I wash, dry, etc. My old lc said that some people just are yeasty.

I was wondering last week if I had it as well....my nips were bright pink and I had shooting pain once when I was nursing. But I only had the shooting pain once and I just think she was hurting my nips with her bad latch. I hope you don't have it!
