Our families are all asking what to get the kids for Christmas, and I don't know what to tell them. We seriously have everything that they need until they are at least 1. My default answer with Claire was always "books" but now we have a ton of those, too. Any great ideas? What are you getting your babies? I don't want our house to look like Toys R Us exploded in our living room

The only thing I can think of is money to put into their college funds, but I know some people will want to get them "things."

Look on page 2 I think. There was another thread like this with tons of baby gift ideas. I stole some of them and sent my family links.

Do you have a zoo, science museum or children's museum that they could get memberships to? How about art stuff, like paints, colored construction paper, stickers, etc?

I was going to suggest money towards experiences of some kind too... zoo, museums, music classes etc.

There's a yoga class near here for moms and babies - I think that could be a fun present. I love the idea of membership to somewhere fun to take the little ones. Vouchers are always good because then you can get what you need when you need it.

I'm asking for an exersaucer as well.
I love the zoo/ museum idea!! I want to make sure we don't end up with a boatload of toys... I think that's what everyone wants to get.

I would actually love it if people got toys for him because we don't have very many. I know he won't use them right away but it would be nice to already have some for later!

We have so many books it drives me bananas. They have a huge bookcase and they are overflowing. How do you keep 600 books organized?!
