Don't put it directly on him. Eucalyptus is one of the strongest oils and can burn his skin. I sprinkle a drop or two on the shelves in my shower and take baby in the shower. I wouldn't even put it in his bath water until he's older. Also, most people use too much essential oils. Remember that they are extremely concentrated and 1-2 drops will do. You can try an oil diffuser too.
I put it in the tub then ran the shower on hot and just sat on the toilet so he could breath it. . Yes I tried it on my hand and it was very strong so I def didn't put it on him. He's always in the bathroom in his swing when I shower so I'll def be doing this more!! I thought maybe I could sprinkle a little on a cloth and hold it while nursing too??? I dunno. But I bathed him, lotioned, got dressed then sat in the steam then swaddled nose sucked gave him boob and he was out like a light!!
