Well, it's safe to say that the fat man is healthy!!!!! He is 24 inches long with a 41.5 cm head. He is 16.5 pounds (YIKES!!!).

He has some eczema on his cheeks that we got a cream for and she prescribed a stool softener for his constipation. We went over the fact that we thicken his formula for his reflux. She wants us to keep doing that since it is working but to try to feed him every 4 hours instead of 3. She said to give him some pedialyte when he gets restless at the 3 hour mark so that we can try to get his body to catch up to his weight.

He did SO well with his shots. He cried for a minute and then was fine. He was more upset when we took his diaper off during his weigh in.

All in all he is great but I am being a worrywart momma over his weight.
abur and Shamogue like this.

LOL I would think not too much. The bad part was that we had just changed his diaper during his undress so he was pretty livid when it was taken off yet again at the scale.

The only reason I am worried about his weight is because I was told that I need to be. I think it's silly. I figure he will level out when he starts rolling over and playing with things.

They seem to think that the pedialyte will stave his hunger. That he only "thinks" he's hungry. I'm leaning against it. I'm pretty comfortable doing things out of the box but trying to trick him just to stretch his feedings is a little out of my comfort zone. I just don't feel right doing that.

My pediatrician said that Jayden should start to level out around 4 months, when he becomes more active. I would not worry about it so much. I was just worried because my friends 4 month old son is 14 pounds, but I think about the fact that DF is a big guy so I know Jayden will be as well.
