Are you all still swaddling? It was seeming like Jett wasn't liking it anymore so the night before last I didn't and he was up a bunch, tried it last night, forget it. Swaddled him and he slept 5 hrs.... Lol. Guess he's not ready!!!

Sean tries to fight his way out so I thought the same thing about him not liking it, but he sleeps so much better when he's swaddled so I still swaddle him. It's also the only way he lets me put him down!

We haven't swaddled Madalyn the past couple of nights and she's up every 2 hours ... Might have to go back to it.

We're still swaddling, too. She sleeps much better that way. I think I read somewhere that you're supposed to start phasing it out around 3 months. Anyone else know anything more on that?

We haven't since she was maybe 2 weeks? She's fought it since birth lol we were in the hospital trying to keep her little arms in there! I think she's happier all splayed out. And I'm glad to not have to deal with the upset now of phasing it out.

I think you are supposed to stop because of their hips needing free movement. I'd use sacks and wearable blankets in place of it to make the transition easier. Or use blankets that only swaddle around the midsection so their legs/hips can move!

I want to get some of the sleep sacks that still allow you to wrap their arms, but their legs are pretty free to move ... Halo makes some, I think.

Were still are at night for sleeping, but Allie prefers to have her hands free during the day

Jonah breaks out of his swaddles like he's Houdini! He still sleeps 5+ hours the first stretch but I swear he would sleep longer if he stayed swaddled! I ordered some new bigger swaddle blankies (muslin kind) so hoping he likes those better

We don't swaddle for naps. only at night. We also only wrap tight from waist up, his little legs can kick around. I want to look into those halo sleep sacks too, I think he prefers his arms tight.

I got cotton jersey fabric at JoAnns and that made the BEST swaddle blanket!!!

I use the swaddle sleep sacks. They are awesome! So much easier than swaddling with a blanket!

We still swaddle Coleson, but only at night. And also we dont put his hands in the swaddle blanket either. He has to have his hands free.

I havent tried phasing it out, but he going on 3 months so I may want to check into that hip stuff.

We swaddle occasionally during the day if he is fussy, but for bedtime he is wearing his CoziBug sleep sac. I think he likes it much better!

Riah LOVES to be swaddled still, she'll get fussy if she isn't, especially at bed time.

How do you safely swaddle with the harness? I'd love to swaddle him to get him to sleep in the swing (he'll lay in there for my husband but if I put him down he wants Mommy).
