Michael just ate a 4 oz bottle an hour ago, and then started screaming for more. He is sucking down another 4 oz bottle an hour after the first. Growth spurt? should i start giving him 6 oz bottles?

My ped told me b/t 2-3 months they will be ready for 5-6 oz per feeding. Meghan takes 2 sometimes, 4, or 6. They won't over eat.

That's about where we are at right now too. I usually give her a 4 oz bottle then make 2 oz if she seems hungry after the first 4 oz. I hate wasting it!

Around 2-3 months they will eat 5-6 ounces and 3-4 months it will be 6-7 ounces but we are keeping jayden down to 4 ounces until his 4 month appointment per his pediatrician. He has been doing good on 4 ounces eats and sleeps for 3-4 hours and then is hungry again. DF little cousin is 7 months old and barely drinks 6 ounces so every baby is different.

Beaux will be 3 months next week and he is eating anywhere from 4-5.5oz at a time when he takes a bottle. He is still breastfeeding about 2-3 times a day and I think he is only getting about 3oz when does that. That is my guess though.

Omg every hour? I would go absolutely crazy! I thought Jayden eating every 3 hours was a lot now that hes been stretching it to every 4-5 hours.

Breastfed babies need to eat more frequently because breast milk is easier to digest than formula.

Plus he just loves to eat.. lol

I knew they had to eat more but every hour sounds like so much. Ive never known anyone to breast feed that much. Thats exactly why I couldnt breast feed, no way i could go to school and work and make enough milk to feed him every hour, thats insane lol
