We currently have one crib in our room and one is upstairs in the nursery collecting dust. The babies take turns sleeping with me; the other is in the crib in our room. On the occasion where I don't want to sleep with one baby (if I had a drink, feel sick, or just really exhausted to the point that I'm worried that it isn't safe), I have just put both in the crib. We're to the point, though, that they move around too much, and I can't do that any more.

DH is convinced that there must be a way to safely divide the crib in half, but I can't think of any way that would work. Does anyone have any ideas?

We could disassemble the 2nd crib and bring it in our room, but that would make things pretty cramped. I could also put a pack-n-play in there for the 2nd baby. Any other great ideas?
