Now that I'll be giving Emmy bottles of pumped milk when I'm at work, I was wondering if you just wash them out every day or wash and boil? I figured I'd sanitize once a week but now I'm wondering if I should sanitize every day?
Also, do you use an antibacterial dish soap to wash them out? Right now I'm using Palmolive Baby but it isn't antibacterial...

I just use dish soap (not antibacterial) and HOT water...I have never sterilized anything either for Claire or for the twins.

Oh cool thanks!! I thought you had to sterilize at least every once in a while; good to know you don't. It's pretty labor intensive. lol.

Its something pretty new in the past year I think. It smells so good! WalMart carries it.

We boiled before ever using the bottles and now they just get washed with soap & hot water.

I prefer to wash with the baby dish soap then at the end of the day all bottles and nip's go into the sterilizer.

I sterilize mine in a sterilizing system I got from BRU. I do it every day because I've been battling nasty thrush with him for weeks and I'm paranoid that it will stick around if I don't!

I wash in regular palmolive and use a microwave sterilizer for every bottle. The microwave sterilizer is super easy, and I think it was only like $25. Opinions differ on sterilizing but Catherine was a preemie so we are extra careful. And boiling sounds like a huge pain.

We boil everything the first time we use it. After that, just wash with dish soap and HOT water. Be prepared, the bottles/nipples will pick up the scent of whatever soap you use. It isn't that you left soap on the bottles/nipples.

Mine get sterialized when I put them in the dishwasher, but that's not very often, usually we just handwash them

I handwash if reusing the same day but usually just stick them all in the dishwasher at the end of the day.

My sink water gets ridiculously hot. So I hand wash them and then run them through the dish washer. I rarely use bottles though.

My mom washes and sterilizes them in the microwave sterilizer every day. I just use normal dishwashing liquid too.

hand wash with insainly hot water for daily use i think they get "steralized" about once a month although our tap honestly is almost boiling if you turn it all the way up.
