How did it go today? I hope you and Hannah had a better day. I was thinking about you today. It's hard dealing with a fussy baby, especially when you are sleep deprived.

Thank you! It's been so much better I feel like I know how to handle her now so it's been easier lately. I've found I just need to rock her when she yawns and off to sleep she goes. She's predictable again and I'm enjoying it!!!

I've found the same thing with Meghan. When she gets fussy, swaddle her, a little Mylicon, and a few minutes rocking her and off she goes! Glad things are better!

Ive given Jayden little tummies and it didnt work for him but this was when he was on his first formula hes switched off that since then and his born free bottles. Hes on dr browns bottles now andsensitice formula so theres less gas but its harder for him to burp with dr browns bottles.

I'm glad you are having a better day My older sister has four boys and she always told me just when you think you are about to lose your mind, they will change.

Yaaayy for predictable babies again. Luyando too just changed her normal routine and it took a while to figure her out. When you think you have totally understood their pattern, they change on you. I guess they are trying to keep us on our toes (literally).

I envy you, Amanda... my girl is having major sleep issues right now. At night she does fine, but she won't nap during the day. And by day's end she's super cranky sleep-deprived

Yes, it does!!! Elli, DON'T envy me lol!!! We just got through some pretty bad sleep troubles. But honestly if I hadn't known to start the day/night routine of cutting out the lights when it was bedtime and making it bright during the day, I don't think we'd have a scheduled "bedtime". She does go to sleep at the same time, but everything after that is up in the air!

I see. Well I guess we're both having a hard time then! Does Hannah nap during the day at all?

Savina refuses to... but she's got reflux too, and today we finally got a new, stronger medication for her, so hopefully that'll help her...

She barely did last week but she's back to catnaps/30 min naps at most. She has a long one after waking up in the am and that's about it. I've diagnosed her with reflux by symptoms but am doing what I can to avoid meds (sitting up during/after feeds, etc.) but I'll prob get them at her next appt or before if I see things worsen again.

So for Savina it's obviously reflux but a growth spurt just makes it worse!

yea... and she's so miserable when she misses a dose. so def. wouldn't do it without the meds. poor baby goes through enough already. and I'm generally very much against meds.
