Reed is doing great. We only need to do one breathing treatment a day until wed or thurs. We cut down to two the last two days. My dr reassured me that there us really nothing that can be done for rsv. It is just harder on some babies. I am just so happy the breathing treatment worked for us. She said it is really hard on kids and that she wished they would find a vaccine for it. She did say they give premies a shot to help prevent it. They get it monthly and it cost 1,000 a shot. Crazy.
I'm so happy he is doing better. I'm sure you're relieved. Poor little guy.
Friends of ours had a preemie and they said it was a thousand to get that shot! Insurance wouldn't cover it. That's so crazy!
Yay, Reed! So glad to hear that he is healthier and happier!
George and Abigail get the RSV shot every month; we are super lucky that insurance covers it. You'd think all insurance would want to cover it...$1000 for a shot is MUCH cheaper than putting a baby in the hospital for RSV!
