I read in the early weeks yawning is the baby's way of maturing her lungs, making them bigger.

Now, at 12 weeks, is that still the case? Or is yawning by now actually a sign of being tired?

I wish I knew but just reading the word yawn makes me want to yawn hee hee!

I know that Danika yawned a lot in the first several weeks and I mean A LOT! She doesn't yawn more than normal now so I just don't know but I DO know that she seems to increase her yawning when she is tired.

Jayden only yawns now when hes cranky and ready for a nap so im assuming its a sign of being tired.
