My husband is out at sea this week and last night I did something I said I would not do....little Jonah slept in my bed all cuddled up next to me. He's still snuggled right up against me Its really sweet
He woke up at 1am and I had him in his RnP because he does better sleeping at an incline and he looked so uncomfortable to me. His legs were all scrunched up..he can't straighten them out. That can't be good for his body I would think. I know the weight limit is high but what about length? But he slept flat all night in my bed...interesting that he can't in his PnP lol...little stinker.
Aw, that's the best I used to do that all the time when she would wake up and not go right back to sleep. Of course as soon as she is with me she goes to sleep I just think of it as this: when I was a kid, my parents bed was the MOST comfortable thing ever. I'd go hang out with my mom and just pass out from how comfortable it was lol so here we have our little babes and the same thing is happening
I co-slept with my older kids until they were 5 (way too long for me). My oldest is 16. I just asked her if she remembered sleeping in my bed and she said yes. I asked her if she like it and she said "Yes, it was so comfortable and and I wasn't all alone in my room". I don't want to co-sleep again because my husband is a crazy sleeper and I would be up all night worrying
Coleson has now started sleeping in bed with me when he wakes up at 530 to eat. I just lay him in the bed with me b/c DH is already gone to work. But I have to wake up at 645 to get my oldest up for school. Luckily Coleson stays asleep. Then when DS gets on the bus that goes right infront of my house, I lay back down with Coleson till 845 when he wakes up. Its sooo nice!
Eve sleeps in her RnP the first few hours of the night, but once she wakes up to eat she sleeps in bed next to me. I love, love, love waking up to her in the morning. She's all warm and snuggly with those sweet little baby lips all puckered up...nothing better.
My DH sleeps pretty crazy too but I don't have a problem sleeping with her in the bed. I don't put her in the middle of the bed, but on the side of the bed. All I do is scoot towards the middle so that I'm facing the side of the bed and she isn't too near the edge, then I put my arm under her neck so that I'm cupping her body and she won't fall out. I definitely wouldn't do this if I felt as though I'd let go of her, or if our bed was higher up. We have an Ikea bed that is low to the ground
