Oh yeah! We love Easter and expecially making baskets too! Our oldest son loves getting up and finding his Easter basket from the Easter bunny! He will expect one from Coleson too, so have to have one for both!

We also go to our city Easter egg hunt and our church does one too!

Yes! I still have to buy the basket and ribbon to make her actual basket. We usually put in some candy and a couple small toys. For Ailie we'll probably just do an outfit and teething toy or something.

We don't do Easter baskets. We celebrate Easter, but for us, it's not about candy and gifts. I just can't buy into what the Easter bunny has to do with the resurrection, lol!

One could make the same argument about Santa and Christmas.

Exactly Sarah my younger two would never know the difference, basket or not, but my 6 year old would interrogate the "Easter bunny" for life if his little sisters didn't get baskets lol.

Actually, we teach about Saint Nicholas and giving in the spirit of Christ Santa is not a huge part of Christmas for us. He gives one gift and they know he's not real

I got a good idea today my DSD got a new bike for her birthday so we're going to get her a basket for her bike as an Easter basket, fill it and hide it on her bike. Ha!! I ordered her new reef flip flops today, now I just need to find her and Jett bathing suits.

I have gone insane, considering my child is five months old. I've ordered a fancy Easter basket from Pottery Barn (monogrammed of course) which I intend to fill with some baby stuff and lots of candy (which Daddy and I will help her eat. She will receive the candy through booby time LOL). I also got her the cutest seersucker pink and white dress and have planned a brunch with many friends then a walk to the Easter parade near our house. It should be really fun!
