Morning or afternoon person or night owl? Luyando wakes up HAPPY! She laughs at everyone and everything, carries on a conversation with the ceiling fan, etc. And I can barely shut dd1 up on my way to dropping her off; she turns into a little chatterbird in the morning. I used to be and maybe still am a morning person but I am not anything close to matching my daughters' exuberance in the morning. What about your baby?

Going back and forth between Morning and Always Perky! Madalyn is pretty much a happy/alert baby most of the time. I chose morning though because she is so smiley and happy when she wakes up. Starts my day off perfectly!

Emma wakes up very happy and smiley in the morning always! Love her sooo much!!! Then she naps for an hour or two and then pretty much up all day and happy ALWAYS. She will sometimes sleep for an hour or two , or catnap here and there. She usually goes to bed around midnight and stays asleep till 8 or 9 a.m. She does just about all her sleeping at night. She just turned 4 months and shes just about 18 pounds! She is in some 9 and 12 months clothes. I have NEVER had a baby this big and she is just heavy because shes not at all chunky. She wears a size 3 diaper and has since a month ago. The girl has big ole hips...

Morning person/ always perky here too. I chose morning though because recently, she's had a "meltdown hour" around 6pm, right when we are leaving work. I've had to pull over twice on the drive home because she was crying so hard that she was choking! Totally not like her... But generally, she is always happy!

Sophie is happy happy when she wakes up, all smiles, so excited to start the day. She does get cranky at night! So perhaps she'll be a morning person. I am NOT a morning person!

CUATX: I hope your little man goes back to being his normal happy self once all the trauma is behind him.
Nina: that describes Luyando most days. It's as if she turns into a different baby as soon as the clock strikes 6pm. I am so happy these days that she responds well to breastfeeding so I just give her a bath, breastfeed her and she goes to sleep by 6.30pm. Wakes up grumpy for food once or twice at night, feed her and let her go back to sleep. Come morning, I have my smiling happy baby back!

Elijah is happy all day long, but he sleeps a lot throughout the day. His eyes pop open around 9pm to play.
