What is your favorite song to sing to your LO? I find it interesting that the songs that were my favorites with Josiah aren't necessarily my favorites with Jamison... each baby seems to "fit" different songs Josiah's songs were "You Are My Sunshine" and "A Bushel and a Peck"
Jamison's songs are "Hush Little Baby" and "Great Big Star" (A Music Together song)

For luyando, it is "Hush little baby don't you cry"
For dd1, it was "Edelweiss" from sound of music

I don't sing specific lullabies, I just make up silly songs. Madalyn likes that ... The goofier, the better!

I actually sing old hymns most of the time. How Great Thou Art is one of Meghan's faves. I also love "Baby Mine."

One of my favorites to sing at night and to calm her down if she's upset is "Everything's Alright" from Jesus Christ Superstar.

My mom sang that to me when I was a baby. I didn't realize it until I was about 12 and started listening to a lot of Andrew Lloyd Weber, heard that song, and said "Mom, did you used to sing this to me?" It brought back really nice memories at the time, so I hope it does the same for Nora

I also like "Good Morning Son" by Ben Folds (yes, yes, she's a girl, but the concept still works ) and "Overjoyed" by Matchbox 20.

I never think to sing him lullabies. Well, sometimes I do but never at bedtime.

I sing a good morning song every day when we wake up. I also love to sing "Bushel and a Peck".
