We are about to leave to Emmys 4 month appointment. I have major anxiety about her shots since she didn't take well to them last time. I'll update later; I'm anxious to know how much she weighs. thanks ladies.

You guys are so sweet!! Thanks for all those well wishes. They must have helped; she handled the actual injections much better! She cried a lot right at first but quieted down much faster and she nursed for a minute whereas last time she was crying too hard to even nurse. she got a DTaP and hib again, that's it. At the next appointment we will evaluate whether we should introduce grains or not, since my cousin has a very severe case of EE which caused debilitating developmental delays for him. But we may start with fruits and veggies around 6 months.
So now for her stats; she weighs 15lbs and 6 oz (75-90%) and she's 25 1/2" (90%). she's gonna be a big girl, I think.
Everything else checked out great; her head is rounding nicely, after being a little flat last time. Dr was impressed that she can roll over all the way already. Lol.
I forgot to ask her to check Emmys teeth though. and she didn't check them like last time either. I was just curious if she could feel anything yet.

So now we are doing some skin to skin and nursing/snuggling time, until we have to go to work.
Thanks for thinking of us!! I'm so relieved she took it better this time!

Oh, I guess the only issue of concern is her labial adhesion which has grown instead of opened up. the dr is fine with watching it for now, since it's thin and not thick but if it doesn't open, they will have to do surgery. I'm not terribly worried since I read that generally, it opens by puberty.

Glad she had a good appointment and did much better with her shots this time!

Madilyn has a little labial adhesion that they noticed on her 4 month appt and the doctor has me "stretching" it once or twice a day to keep it from closing more and to help open it. It has worked great. Nothing hard or traumatic, Madilyn doesn't even know I'm doing it. I just pull her little labia open to clean her during diaper change and hold it open "stretching" it for a few seconds. She's almost completely open now.

Meghan has an adhesion as well. Dr. told me to gently pull it open too, and if it doesn't open, we could use some estrogen cream? Maybe ask about that before surgery. Glad her appoinment went well!

Alexandra has a little labial adhesion, but they told us to use A&D ointment on it but didn't mention anything about stretching it. Does it always need to be stretched?

Yay. Great appt . I'm glad she took her shots better!!

So weird, Jett's stats were just about the same and they told me 30% weight and 40% height.... How can all different charts be so different. Odd.

Glad miss Emmy is doing well.

I'll try to stretch it a bit! Our dr didn't mention anything about that but I'll give it a try.

I just re read Jett's appt stats and Emmy was about 1lb bigger. Jett was 14.6lbs. I was confused because we went back 2 weeks later and he was 15lbs even.
