We've planned on the 29th to have the laparoscopic surgery on my gallbladder! I am terrified, not of the surgery but the anesthesia. I don't know why, probably because they put my aunt out and she never woke up BUT she was super sick and I know that isn't the case for me.
I'm so excited to get this over with because my eating habits have depended on whether or not something will give me an attack, and while that is very low fat it is very high carb.
I went in for my consultation and found out I was 15 lbs higher than my 6 week pp check up weight Boo. hopefully I can start getting back into shape soon.
I also finally finished my glucose test to see if I still had diabetes.
I don't!!!!! YAY. That made me so super excited to hear.
MaKinslie, DH and I have been enjoying the warm weather and have been walking since it's been in the 70's this week.
Um. That's it. Lol.
Just wanted to check in with my other mommies and see how every thing is going.

Girl, I hear you on the anesthesia thing. I almost pooped in my pants when my Dr offered me pitocin in hopes my contractions would get heavier to avoid a c-section...oh heck no! The first thing that popped in my head was the anesthesia! Hahaha
My friend just got her gall bladder removed yesterday. She is soooo glad she did it!
I had mine removed a few years ago and am soo happy its gone. I felt so much healthier as soon as I woke up. My surgury got a litttle more complicated because my gull bladder was much worse off than they thought and so diseased. But I never regretted it. The gullbladder attacks were so bad that morpheine wouldnt even touch the pain. As far as the antestesia I understand your worries. I did vomit but then they gave me meds for that and after a minute all was well. You are young and strong and older people are the ones who usually have issues with anestesia and not waking up without help. I don't know how long ago your aunt had her surgury but there are a ton of new meds if you do have any issues.
