Love it! Thanks so much for sharing that. I agree with the article 100%. The part I liked most is: "Imagine the collective good that could be accomplished if every mother on the Internet responded kindly to others. Women have an incomparable capacity for nurturing, and we need to use this nurturing instinct not just with our children, but also with our fellow mothers." Totally captures how I feel. We all have so much to deal with that support from other mothers is always needed.

I love this! A "friend" of mine went off on FB condemning people for all of the processed "crap" they are feeding their kids. I do the best I can, and after working all day & not getting home on Wednesdays from dd's soccer practice til 6:00, its pizza or hot dog night at the Stephens house!

I totally understand you there! I try REALLY hard to stay away from the processed foods, but pizza is like a staple at our house. One of my husband's favorite foods is bacon wrapped Hot Dogs...can you get any unhealthier? LOL... I try to make those VERY rare and they are basically now a "special" treat in this house. Both dh and I are overweight. have high blood pressure and his cholesterol is insanely high. We are talking in the 400's! ANYWAY we have 2 boys that play football so from July-November we are all about convenience and getting our meals in as quickly as possible. They practice every evening of the week and games on Saturday...so Sunday is the only day we really have any time to sit down to a decent meal. On the off season we try to eat as healthy as possible, but it gets hard to do when you work full time and have a baby in tow.

My point to all of that was that I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from

Great article! I think some people just like drama online, but I'm learning it's best to just ignore those who do. Much more peaceful!
