A new thing started happening while I nurse. I have multiple somewhat uncomfortable let downs. Jonah is in heaven though..he gets excited and is enjoying it. Does this mean my milk supply is fully established??? Or what does it mean?
I'm unsure. Has he been nursing a lot lately to increase your supply? Or have you been doing something to try and get it up? I've always felt my letdowns, but they're definitely more intense when I have a lot of milk.
Maybe because he is stronger, he is creating more intense letdowns. Mine have always been intense from the beginning and I could have her y just thinking about her, hearing her or another baby cry, etc. It definitely has been interesting. Its a bit better now for me since I have tried to cut back my supply due to a full freezer but I still had them the other day on the way home from work just thinking about her!
My letdowns are more intense now that Jamison has become more efficient and his suck is stronger. When I pump, I get two letdowns per side, so I think it is perfectly normal to have multiple letdowns. Especially if he is hungrier, nursing longer, and boosting your supply.
