We had the flu or some kind of stomach bug in our house last week Claire was the only one that ever vomited, but everyone else felt terrible and had upset stomachs and diarrhea. While DH and Claire and I have recovered, the twins still have really loose BMs that smell more awful than usual. They both eat fine, act totally normal, and we're just on the same old formula as always. Do I worry? Will things ever get back to normal, or is this just a new "normal."

Any thoughts or ideas are welcome

Could they be teething? With my older dd, she always got loose stools when a tooth was getting close. Meghan usually only goes every 2-3 days with the assistance of prunes, and the past couple of days she has had at least one if not several a day. I can feel a tooth just under the skin.

Hmmm, you might be onto something! Claire didn't get her first tooth until 11 months, so I wasn't expecting anything this soon, but they sure do chew/drool a lot!

As long as they're acting normal and having wet diapers I wouldn't worry just yet. If it goes on for too long, then I would take them in.

Poor babies! Glad they are still acting ok. I would think they are probably fine ... but you could always call the nurse line just to see. It's what they are there for!
