Wondering if anyone else is having this problem... Mikey is perfectly fine during the day, no gas. But around 2-3 am, even with gas drops, he's wriggling and progressively having trouble sleeping because of gas. He's never crying, just squirming around. I switched from Enfamil Infant to Enfamil Gentlease. No change. Already use Gripe water. Anyone else have this problem... Gas at night? What are you doing to help? What formula are you using?

Yep..Jonah is gassy at night. I don't FF so I am sure it's something in my diet. I honestly think I just have a gassy kid because I eat the most bland diet. I use gripe water and it helps him tremendously.

Do you put Mylicon in his bottles? I put drops in all Meghans bottles & it seems to help.

Thx guys. I've been giving him mylicon drops by mouth. I'll try in his bottle. After writing this thread, I wondered if me switching to powder could be the culprit. Would powder versus ready to feed cause excess gas?

Yes, absolutely! The shaking creates gas bubbles. Mylicon in the bottle will get rid of those

Luyando too is gassy at night these days; it actually wakes her up. Just went to put her back to sleep from a gassy episode. Tonight's I think was from the broccoli meal she ate earlier, other days I don't know. I agree some kids are just gassier than others. We alternate mylicon and gripe water.

Thanks everyone! Last night was better. I'm going to stop using powder Enfamil Gentlease.
