Awe man! I just called earlier for it to. The guy told me the insurance approved 2 different pumps to choose from. Did you call to see why you were denied?

That's exactly what I was told!! I chose the Ameda. I'm so sad.i did call and they said once it went to Tricare billing it was denied. I don't understand because the new legislation says ALL insurance will cover 100% or a portion pumps. Did your Tricare switch to United??

I wonder if the switch to the new insurance has something to do with it? I'm going to make some calls tomorrow because I feel like I deserve some answers.

I agree, especially since all insurances are suppose to be covering it 100%. Let me know what they say. How LNG did it take for them To make a decision?

Yes, Tricare/United does are exempt because it is not considered insurance but more of a "benefit". Outrageous huh?

I'm not surprised at all. I was very surprised when I was told the pump would be covered...I was shocked lol. Now...back to the crappy treatment that I'm used to. I have just had so many bad experiences with this insurance and I'm really bitter towards them.
