I think we've discussed this before ...

Which are you going to use: a straw cup or a sippy cup?

When are you going to start?

Any recommendations?

I'm leaning toward a straw cup, but I'm not sure.

Straw!! I gave Jonah a straw cup yesterday and he knew exactly what to do...it was so funny watching him suck away likes he's been drinking like this forever.

Straw. I got the Playtex Lil Grippers because I can squeeze the bottom to help it come out while he's learning.

With Riley I first tried a sippy cup, but for whatever reason he refused to tip it up. I switched to the straw type and he got it right away. I have a sippy for Eve right now. We haven't used it too much quite yet.

We used Tupperware tumbler cups with the boys, they don't have a valve and you have to tip it up to get anything out. They always preferred them over straws. I'll probably offer ruby an assortment and see what she picks.

Jason tried to feed Jett with a soppy today instead of a bottle because he wasn't taking the bottle well, and he just chewed on it lol. Then again he was chewing on his bottle too which is why I suggested the sippy. Hehe

I might try a straw one

Definitely the straw kind! I haven't given one to the twins yet, but I will in the next month or so.

I think with Claire we had the Playtex Little Grippers...I have some of those again for the twins. I also picked up a couple of these; they look pretty awesome! Zoli Baby BOT Straw Sippy Cup - Green - 9 oz - Best Price

I never considered a straw cup. Maybe we need to try those too.

Straw cup. They are better for jaw development and that's one less thing I have to wean him off of I'll probably start soonish, we'll see. I've gotta pick some of the smaller ones up.

I started with sippy for dd1 and transitions to the straw kind later. Doing the same here for Luyando. So, both for us. We have already started our sippy and she likes it.
