How long does it take your hips to go back to where they were pre-baby? Do they always go back, or do they sometimes stay wider?

I tried a pair of pants on today that fit fine after Claire...now my hips are too wide. It's not fat or squish that is the problem...my bone structure is not the same. It has been almost 8 months, so do I get to keep these "birthing hips?"

How are you ladies doing in the hip department?

Didn't really notice a big change ... But I already had "birthing hips" according to my mom!

I'm definitely "hippier" since having my older dd. I never had hips before babies.

My OB said it is pretty common for your hips to be permanently slightly wider. Mine are.

My hips are wider than before kids. I haven't noticed them being wider after Eve than Riley. They have definitely narrowed since giving birth.

I think my hips are the same as before I got pregnant, but I have a good set of hips anyway.

I've always had big hips. I think they may be a little bigger now, but I don't really mind. What bothers me is the love handles ON my hips haha
