Tell us a "truth"... meaning, something that is part of your ideology for how you parent, or how you live your life

TRUTH: It's important for kids to always feel heard, but it is also important for them to learn not to interrupt!

Please and thank you can't be taught early enough.

This life is just part of a bigger journey. I believe in heaven.

"The greatest thing a father can do for his daughters is love their mother."

"It's not a parent's responsibility to have Godly children. It's a parent's responsibilty to make sure their children have Godly parents."

"Charm is deceptive & beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30

Ask. Believe. Receive.

Thoughts become things, what you think about, you bring about.

God is the reason we exist, have what we have, and He loves us. I'll teach Michael about Him.

The most fun childhood experiences are the messy ones.

Housework can wait. You can't get time back.

Agree with all above. Adding:

Love God and your fellow human beings. Make friends based on the inside of the person not on the outside. Give, not just what you don't want, but particularly what you treasure.

I don't have an inspiring quote for it, but I firmly believe that children are watching and learn from everything parents do for better or for worse. What they eat, how they treat their own bodies, how they feel about themselves, how they treat others.

I am very conscious of the fact that if I want my children do act/feel a certain way, I better be acting/feeling that way myself (and better NOT be doing things I don't want them to do!)
