George and Abigail will be baptized this summer when we travel home, and I need to find them the appropriate outfits...I want a gown for Abigail, but something more like a romper or pants for George.

Where did you find yours? I have found some that I like, but they are so stinking pricey! Any ideas on where to find some that aren't $100+?

Honestly I bought Meghan's off Ebay! It was a new with tags Will'beth that probably retailed for close to if not over $100. I got it for $50 + free shipping! Just find a brand you like and search for it on Ebay. We are dedicating both girls on Mother's Day

Both my kids were baptized in a gown that my grandma made and all of my siblings and nieces have worn. Of course, I only had one kid to baptize at a time!

I have a little shortall outfit that was my Dad's that I'm thinking of using for Jamison's baby dedication. It is mint green with a white sailor collar. We need to schedule his dedication! In addition to ebay, check etsy. There are some atrociously expensive ones on there, but also some that are quite reasonably priced!

I'm overwhelmed by the selection on Etsy! I keep finding ones I think I like, but it is hard finding two that sort of "go" together for a boy and girl. I'm getting it narrowed down

Get this...I found an $8,000 baby baptismal gown on there...can you believe that I cannot imagine. It is gorgeous, of course, but holy cow!!

I had an outfit picked out that my aunt said she was going to buy...and then she didn't...and then we decided to look around at different churches because we didn't really like the direction ours was going (being all about "show" and not very real) so we have just started going to one for a few weeks recently...so i'll probably wait until we feel pretty comfortable to do a dedication. We don't do baptisms because we feel that's a conscious choice.
