I'm feeling just the teeniest bit sorry for myself since one of my good friends gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Wednesday, who she named Ellen with the nickname Ellie. Jamison was going to be Elianna with the nickname Ellie if he had been a girl. So, that was bittersweet, then my other good friend texted me today saying she is also having a girl! I LOVE my boys, but I always imagined I'd have a little girl. So, yeah... feeling a bit sad. Not sad enough to TTC again though. I feel so blessed to have my two boys and know in my heart that Jamison was the completion of our family.

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. Once in a while I feel like that but then I remember I have 2 beautiful and healthy daughters and, these days, girls can do whatever boys can do and vice versa so I can still be a soccer mom with my daughters
my better half was picking up newborn boy outfits in walmart the other day and said were gonna have another 1 when i said i thought you wanted a girl he said exactly I wanted Connor to be a girl and he was a boy so if i plan for the next one to be a boy it will be a girl.............. so your not the only one
