Sarah's post about Jamison falling off the couch got me wondering, have you experienced any baby "scares" yet?

OMG, yes. The other day the twins were on the living room floor when I heard Abigail gasping and wheezing like she was choking on something. I ran to grab her and whacked her on the back like we were taught in our infant CPR class. She was breathing but still sounded funny, so I stuck my fingers in her mouth...and pulled out one of Claire's terry-cloth ponytail holders I guess it had fallen out of Claire's hair at some point, and Abigail decided it looked like a good snack. I was SO scared...it took me quite a while to calm down and for my heart to slow down. I'd be thrilled if I never had to do that again

Ares fell out of bed about 3 days ago. I cried more than he did. I felt TERRIBLE. That will definitely never be happening again

When Melody was only a few weeks old our oldest daughter pulled her off the couch and onto the floor. Least she fell on a pile of blankets rather then the floor. Felt awful though
