First, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. If it's not can someone tell me the right place? My 6 1/2 mth old has been on solids for almost a month. Before that she was breast fed. She is usually a happy girl and has a good appetite. Lately she has started screaming when she is eating solids. It sounds like she is in pain but I can't figure out why. I asked our dr and he just said "it could be a number of things". It seems to be happening more and I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else's kiddos done this?

Haven't given my LO solids yet. Maybe your little girl just isn't ready yet. Maybe give her a break and try again in a week. Good luck!

Maybe she wants to feed herself? My oldest started refusing purees at 7.5 months, but would self feed soft foods. Maybe try green beans or soft banana chunks?

I don't think the issue is that she's not ready for solids. I'll try give her finger foods and see if that helps. Thanks
