So who has taken a road trip with the baby yet? Where did you go and how long was the drive? How did you break it up?

We are considering a road trip from MA to Nebraska in July to see family. It sounds terribly stressful to most I am sure but to me it sounds less stressful than flying with everyone and having to fiddle with 3 car seats, etc. I can't really figure out the logistics though since she doesn't STTN yet.

We have only gone to visit DH's family which is 1 hr 30 min away. So not really a road trip ... We don't really travel that much.

We did our beach trip a few weeks ago...5 hours + 2 hours on the ferry, and it went better than I expected.

We are only a few weeks away from our big road trip...2700+ miles I can't wait to see our families!

No road trips yet, but I flew Seattle to San Diego with Jamison the end of January for my Grandma's funeral. Total travel time was about 7 hours.

No road trips but we are road tripping in July. Driving up to San Francisco for a few days then driving over to Lake Tahoe. Here to SF is about 7 hours.

Then in Dec we are driving cross country to Rhode Island which will take about a week.

The longest we've driven is about 3 hours to SC to see Bryan's family that lives there.

Have flown 2ce with her, one tip involving 3 flights with one being a 14-hour flight. She did excellently. We've only done an hour road trip and she did great. I am sure they'll do great; just break it up a bit for them.

We've done days where we're in and out of the car all day with a combined driving time of about 5 hours and she does really well. When she gets fussy I think it's more from boredom (understandable!) so we turn on some nursery rhymes and that helps.

June 1 we are taking a road trip to Michigan. 2 days there and 2 days back. He does well with someone in the backseat with him so we will take turns doing that.
