Mathieu started coughing last week, but my 3 year old has had diarrhea since last monday, we are on day 9... i have been to a walk in clinic and we saw a practicing nurse yesterday. She woke up puking in the night. we are bringing in samples today, i just want her to feel better... she is refusing to eat (hasn't eaten since thursday) and it takes everything to get her to drink water. am i crazy for thinking this is a looong time and worrying? now i'm worried Mat is getting it too
there has been so much sickness in our house in teh last several months - i am feeling so overwhelmed
We JUST got over ANOTHER stomach flu. I hear you I thought summer would be better. I spent all day yesturday with motrin and a heating pad on my belly it was so painful . To get rid of the diarrhea buy some acidolpholus(spelling?) powder or pills and crush them up in a drink or applesauce or anything. It gets rid of the diarrhea in 24 hours and keep doing it for a week. Its 100% safe and natural. If you can find it refridgerated its even better like at vitiamin world or GNC. It works like yogurt without the dairy. Been using it for 27 years. I just used it on Emma. Walmart sells it in a pill form non cold but it still ok. It just is better kept cold because the acidolpholus has live cultures. My old pedatrician told me about this.
O.k. I am taking a break, I just counted 5 misspellings....I am tired and brain fried. LOL

And 4 beautiful grandbabies
Thank you for the idea, i think the puking in the night ended up being the "grand finale" but i wish i had posted sooner and then i could have tried your suggestion and maybe she would have felt better sooner... it's kind of crazy how that feeling totally overwhelmed has subsided quite a bit just by her feeling better
If babies/kids would just sleep and not get sick... ahh all would be fantastic!!
