We plan to go to see fireworks on the 5th and 6th with family. The noise shouldn't be an issue because we bought a pair of $30 baby ear muffs for Sophie when she saw fireworks at 5 months and she loved it. I tried them on and they work amazingly!
The 4th is my favorite holiday ... BUT I am anxious about having Madalyn up that late and the noises upsetting her. Also, the fireworks are in kind of a ghetto part of downtown and there's some WEIRD people there ... We'll see.

Going to a party at Travis' family's house. Ares tends to stay up pretty late on his own, so not worried about that. As for the loud noise, I will probably just stay inside with him while everyone does fireworks.. I don't want to risk scaring him.
Ruby only took one nap today so she was tired tonight but stayed up until 10! She cried the whole way there and the whole way home, but she was happy at the beach. She paid no attention to the fireworks though, she was more interested in the sand.
mama to 5 yr old DS1 , 3 year old DS2 , and nursling DD .
We went to DH's best friend's parents' house and had a BBQ, and later on we went to a park and watched fireworks. Michael loved it! He was mesmerized. Slept all night despite the neighbors setting off their own fireworks, lol!
