What are you thinking about getting your LOs for their first birthday? What will you suggest to family if they ask?

I'm hunting for ideas

So far just planning on a Haba doll. Maybe some musical instruments and a jack in the box. We have so many toys and Ruby is our last baby so I don't want to go overboard.

Jessica, I have something similar on my list for the twins! I think they'd love a ride-on toy!

LOVE the Haba dolls...something she can have for a lifetime.

We're the same way. We already have so many toys and books that the kids don't need anything. I am struggling to come up with ideas!

I'm going to look into getting one of those triangular activity walker toys. We will also be setting up his college fund, and asking the grandparents to contribute to that in lieu of large gifts.

The ride on toy sounds great. I was going to get ds 1 a scooter so Luyando might just as well get a ride on toy.

That ride-on toy is super cute!

I haven't decided what we are getting, yet. Still looking.

Not sure yet!!! We will request money from family for his account that's already set up..he has more $$ than I do he doesn't seem to have an interest in a certain toy yet...for example cars or trains. Something I'm still thinking about.

That rocking horse is cute. Jonah got one for Christmas except it's a sock monkey.

Besides the party decorations and the first bday photo session, we are getting him a ride on toy that looks like a motorcycle! I'm going to suggest to friends and family sand toys, bath toys, musical instrument toys, bubbles, cars, and maybe bigger clothes :-)
