Ruby is up for Baby of the Week and this is my Q&A thread. If you have any questions, ask away!

How does Ruby relate to her brothers? Does she just watch them? Does she try to play with them? How do they react to her?

What type of career can you imagine Ruby having as an adult?

What makes Ruby laugh the hardest?

What is her favorite food so far?

What is her favorite thing to do?

Ruby loves to watch her brothers and they just crack her up. She loves to play peekaboo with them and especially loves with my 3 year old plays it with her. She laughs so hard at him. It's hilarious. She also sits next to him in the car and always drops her toys in his seat and thinks its so funny. When they are away from her and she's in the quiet house she gets fussy! And when they get back she lights up and wiggles all around and gets happy. She smiles and belly laughs so much for them. Today in the car my 5 year old snuck some bubbles in there and blew them towards Ruby and the three of them were cracking up and happy as could be. Yesterday the boys were in their bouncy house and I sat Ruby in it and they made up a silly song about her and would drop down on the floor in front of her and she was just cracking up with huge belly laughs, it was so great. They love her so much. My 3 year old has a more playful relationship with her where he makes her laugh a lot but my 5 year old adores her so much where she is very therapeutic for him in the way that she is innocent. He is constantly saying the most sweet things about her, picking his favorite things and telling me he loves Ruby more than that, even going to the point of saying he would die for her. He just adores her.

As far as careers, hmm I don't know. I'll go with astronaut since that's probably what she'll be for Halloween.

Ruby laughs the hardest at my 3 year old's version of peekaboo. He goes to the other room and then says "where's sam??" and pops out and runs towards her really fast and kisses her. she goes nuts.

Her favorite food is honestly probably those yogurt melts. She was so sick with an ear infection the other day and couldn't sleep so she joined my 5 year old for his movie night and she sat right next to him eating her yogurt melts while he ate his popcorn. As far as baby food goes, there is a banana pumpkin pouch she loves.

I think her favorite thing to do is sit in the shallow water at the pond or beach and play with the sand and rocks.

After having 2 boys, how is having a girl different? Do you find that you and/or your DH treat her differently than the boys?

Is she girly? Or is she a tomboy? Does she like something on her feet (socks, shoes)? Is she a morning person? Is she a mommy's girl or does she prefer dada?

Are certain personality traits starting to show? Which ones?
What is Ruby's favorite book?

It's just different in that I feel complete. I love all my kids but she feels like a missing piece. I think my husband treats her differently in what he calls her. He's got lots of endearing names for her. I treat her differently in that I've bought her some baby dolls already. That's really the extent of it so far.

She's definitely more clingy and shy than my boys. She tends to hug lots and need to get close and hold on tight when she's in a new place. But she loves getting down and dirty like my boys do. She usually goes barefoot and tries to pull off socks when she has them on! She is definitely more a morning person, and a mommy's girl although she does love her dad!

She seems a bit shy and may end up more introverted than my guys. She also seems to be more persistent and determined than my guys were. She will sit and try a toy or game for awhile without giving up, where my boys had less attention when they couldn't do something. As far as books go, she loves animal ones that make me sound out animal noises. She also seems to like lift the flap books.

She looks good in blue and yellow. Pink does nothing for her!

She does have a favorite song, its a foreign lullaby from a cd I have had since before I was even married. We hum it to her and it puts her right to sleep. We did the same with my boys. It was actually just in the movie Argo so I was able to find a link, Argo (2012) Hace Tuto Guagua (performed by Familion) (Soundtrack OST) - YouTube
