Talk to me about naps!

How many is your baby taking? How long are they sleeping each time?

Ruby is really trying to drop her morning nap. Today it took me a half hour to get her to sleep at 2 and then she was up again at 2:25, I put her down again and she slept til 4.

Still two here...thank goodness!

I usually put them down at 10:30 and they sleep until 12:30. Then again from 3-4:30. Some days they don't sleep much in the afternoon, they just play with their toes or their stuffed animals. I know we're probably getting close to them wanting to drop their morning nap and I'm dreading it!

How long do they sleep total at night?

Ruby does about 12 hours (interrupted) so I think that's why she doesn't want as much sleep in the day.

Two here. He usually sleeps for a couple of hours.

Elijah also does about 12 at night. He is starting to go to bed, earlier (he used to stay up really late).

Usually 2 naps during the day ... 1 or 2 hours each time ... At night, she sleeps about 10 hours, wakes to nurse, and is down for another 2 or so ...

Usually 3 naps a day. One about 2 hours after she wakes up (so around 8am) and it's about an hour long. Then another around noon, another hour or two long, and then a third nap (which she sometimes skips) around 5:30-6:00. It's not as long as the others; usually 30-45 minutes.
She sleeps about 10 hours (interrupted!) at night.

Whoa! You have some great sleepers, Melissa!

Sean's been doing better with his naps lately. He'll do 2 naps of about 1-1.5 hours each. He sleeps 11.5-12 hours (interrupted) at night.

Luyando does at least 2 naps a day. One for about an hour or more around 9/10am ish and another for 2 or more hours between noon and 1pm. Depending on how long the afternoon one is, she may take another around 5.30pm. She goes to bed around 8pm and is up around 7am. So about 11 hours interrupted about 2-3 times to nurse although I am going to work on ending those soon.

We have a new routine and Jonah is doing great. No more napping in his swing!!! He naps in the morning a couple of hours after he wakes up for the day. Then he has an afternoon nap with Daddy at around 4. Morning nap is between an hour to two hours. Afternoon nap is usually around two hours.

I wish Bert would nap with Sean. That's so sweet! Bert has always just put Sean down when he gets tired.

Meghan naps twice in her crib. Once around 10is for 1-2 hours, then another around 2 for 1-2 hours. Sleeps about 11 hours at night uninterrupted.

Still 2 naps for Allie, one is usually better than the other, but its difficult to predict. If she naps for an hour and a half in the morning, her afternoon will only be maybe 30 minutes, and vice versa.
