I'm going to give Elijah some baby food that contains yogurt. How many bites would you start off with? It's Earth's Best Apple Peach Oatmeal Yogurt. Yogurt is the fourth ingredient. Please pray that he doesn't have a reaction. Thank you!

It was Earth's Best Apple Peach Oatmeal Yogurt. He didn't wind up eating any of that. I wound up giving him a baby spoonful of whole milk. So far so good.

It's been two hours! Last time, he was so sick at this point that we were trying to decide if we should take him to the ER (and we did), so I think it was just the formula upsetting his stomach... yay!!!!!

Good job Elijah! I was going to say if gagging was a signal to stop my dd wouldn't eat anything. At times she just gags just because she can I am glad he is okay though. Do you have allergy in the family? I think you said one of your dd was. I'll just go slowly if there is a history in the family and just watch him like a hawk for couple of hours afterwards.

I was just coming on here to update:

I think it's safe to say that Elijah doesn't have a milk allergy or FPIES. Thank you, Jesus! I seriously couldn't deal with that, again.

Our oldest two had allergies... it was awful. They've since outgrown, and any not outgrown they were desensitized to (huge process... took a couple of years).

I have watched him like a hawk... he is doing well!

Oh, forgot to tell you that after 2.5 hours, I gave him more. I mixed milk in with his oatmeal, he ate it, and it's been 2.5 more hours and he is doing fantastically!
