We are going to cancel Elijah's birthday party since it's probably going to rain this weekend, and it was going to be at the park.

What else can we do as a family? We had a family party on his actual birthday (yesterday), but we would like to take him somewhere fun instead of the party we were going to have at the park. Any suggestions? We'll take a rainy day idea and a idea for if it doesn't rain.

We'll definitely go to the zoo if it winds up not raining! I'll look into the others in case it does.

During the goverment shutdown our zoo is closed. Maybe if its open we ill do a zoo day for her b day. She LOVES animals. We have a litter of 3 kittens I am stuck taking care of until my daughters house is ready for her to move into and take these babies. They are so cute and Emma just kneels by the box and stares at them and says, 'AWL" over and over and shrieks and laughs. She copies her siblings. So cute. She will grab our hands to bring her to the box which we keep in one of our bathrooms for now. Shes pretty gentle for the most part but she must be watched or a kitty is going for a walk with Emma. LOL
