I have so many books that have been recommended, but I don't know where to start. What are you reading?

I just started one about a midwife last night. I think I got it during Free Friday (Nook). Hoping it's good. I just don't have much time to read. I'm using my iPad and Elijah is really interested in playing with it, so I have to wait until he is sleeping.

I am also in between books right now. I have been reading a lot of biographical or historical books on Christian missionaries/missions; the last I read was about some catholic sisters' order in the appalachia. I just love reading about history and other peoples' lives

I've read that one!

This one is The Midwife's Here!: The Enchanting True Story of One of Britain's Longest Serving Midwives.

I love midwife books... I've read several and they were all good.

I haven't. I will definitely look it up... thanks! I love book suggestions!

What are your favorite books?

ETA: just downloaded a sample of The Red Tent on my Nook account so I'll remember to read it!

I think you'd love it, especially with your religious background.
Jinnah likes this.
