How is your little one doing with your Christmas tree? Have you had any broken ornaments? Do you need to keep them away from it with a baby gate or something similar?

We have a gate around ours. He tries to play with it even through the gate.

We have ours upstairs on the catwalk thingy overlooking the first floor. The babies really aren't allowed to run free up there, so it is okay. We do look at it with them, and Abigail is very gentle and wants to kiss the ornaments. George wants to throw the balls, so we have to hang on to him and keep him a little further back
Zukin and Jinnah like this.

We have the tree downstairs and no gate around it. There are stuff animals my mom collected over the years from macy's. She's been pretty good at not touching!

We have it blocked off. The times Elijah has been near it, he tried to grab it.

I didn't put many decorations on it and all of the ones I did put up are high. She doesn't really mess with it at all. There is nothing keeping her away from it.

Surprisingly Madalyn doesn't touch it. She will sit right next to it while playing.

Emma stares at it a lot. She only messed with it the first day and then after being removed and told, "no" she got the hint. I can tell she loves the lights and our most breakable ornaments are higher than she can reach. We don't have the gates around it. She is pretty darn excited about something. I guess she feels all the joy of her siblings excitement. Its pretty cute!
