Have you started introducing the concept to your baby?

I am starting to really encourage Luyando to pick up. The girl loves to throw things/toys around and immediately you put it away she is back throwing them around again. So, really trying to stress picking up with her.

Not formally. Sometimes we will ask "Can you put __________ back?" and she will.

Elijah empties out entire toy bins and then runs away. Anytime anyone is folding laundry, he throws that all over the floor. He doesn't understand the concept of cleaning up, just messing up!

Luyando too loves laundry time. She loves cuddling with both clean and dirty clothes but never brings them back With DD1, I didn't formally start stressing cleaning up so early but she didn't make so much mess and was not so actives. Luyando goes through the house like a tornado!

Abigail loves to help me. She hands me laundry out of the dryer to fold and helps put toys away. George...not so much. He pulls the toys out of the basket as fast as I can put them in! We're working on it, though

Tornado is a great description of Elijah, too! Our second son is in charge of putting Elijah's toys back in his bins once a day (while I do it the rest of the day - yes, it has to be done repeatedly). Some days, Elijah is tossing them out as fast as our other ds puts them in!

Lol, Madison is also our mini tornado! I clean and within 5 minutes everything is out again including cloths.. She will put a few toys away when I ask her if she wants to help, but then starts taking them out again right after...

Jamison loves to help clean up! It is a regular part of our day... if I didn't have them help with cleaning up their messes, this house would never have any semblance of order!

Luyando is doing better with cleaning up now but guess what? Everything ends up in the sink I think she just discovered she can tiptoe and throw things in so now that is her favorite place to put things when you tell her to clean up.
