So Madison has always been a big talker, but ever since she started walking(which was late, almost 14 months) she doesn't say all of the words she used to.... She still says words and will pick up new ones, it just seems like she lost some of the ones she used to say? has this happened to any of you? It really does worry me... For example she was saying doggie perfectly clear since about 10 months until the end of december, but hasn't said it In a few months
Luyando hasn't "lost" any but she does go into long sentences that are understandable only by her. She has quite a lot of clear words though. Maybe Madison is just thrilled at her new words that she is concentrating on acquiring more. Kids learn differently.
Thanks! Makes me feel better... She has probably just been concentrating on her new words... She actually said doggie again within the past few days she also has "conversations'" in her own language, love it
I think this happened with my daughter. As her vocabulary has grown she may have forgotten some of the earlier words. Ellis used to say "Thank you" and now she never does. I wouldn't worry, esp if your child is using new words regularly.
