How does your baby handle a cold? Does he/she still gag a lot on mucous? Throw up? Or does his/her nose just run for a bit and they get over it?

Ellis will get a super runny nose and a cough but she's never vomited from it. She usually more clingy and sleepy during the peak of her colds.

She wakes up at night but apart from runny nose she goes at same speed during the day. 1 or 2 times the runny nose is accompanied by a cough. DD1, on the other hand, as a baby always gagged and threw up from the cough accompanying her cold. She barely kept anything down when she had a cold.

Elijah does a lot of gagging. He'll also throw up a few times. He seems to have a sensitive stomach.. I gave him some Poly-Vi-Sol and he gagged and threw that up, too, so who knows.I cannot stand when the kids bring colds home from school!

Bless his heart. Hope he gets over it soon. My first was like that, it was no fun and resulted in a ton of laundry
