I am Liz and I live in Coastal Massachusetts. My DH is also not Jewish. He is VERY open to my faith and we are actually meeting with my Rabbi next week to talk about the baby (due April 4th) and everything from faith to the Bris to.. well everything.

We have been married for 2 years and are expecting our 1st child. I will be 38 years old in just a couple weeks.

I also look forward to making this forum a success and getting to know you all!

Hi, I'm Sarah(38) and I'm from Pennsylvania. While my Dh isn't Jewish we are raising the girls Jewish but have decided to let them choose when they're old enough(as my daughter Emily did a few years ago). I'm due May 7 with twin girls.

Thank you for the welcome! And ...well actually... this is a great example of a preggo brain moment but just realized in my previous post I forgot to mention we already have four not 1! Emily, Jordan, Hillary, and Megan. I only mentioned Emily because she is so far the only one who has decided to join a Christian church like her father. We'll actually have 6 girls come February! Anyone with some extra sanity that is willing to ship it? I'll cover the FedEx.

Hi!
I'm Sharon. I've been married for 9 years and I have a ds, David, who's 2 y/o. I'm pregnant with #2, gender unknown for the moment
Dh and I have become more observant, although both our families are Conservative/Reform. We're probably around the level of Modern Orthodox at the moment, I just made my kitchen kosher a few months ago. It's not easy when both our families aren't observant, but we're taking it one step at a time.
Glad to meet you all!

Sharon

Hi, I don't know why I didn't see this forum before ...

But, anyway, I'm Cori, I live in Chicago with my husband of about 2 years, who converted before we were married. We aren't very observant at all, I'm more of a "cultural" than a religious Jew. Our son is due May 2, 2006. It's our first and we are very, very excited.

Hi. I'm Karyn, married to Bruce. We are both Jewish. Although we both grew up attending a conservative temple and were married by a conservative rabbi we consider ourselves reform. At this point in our lives we're more like high holiday Jew's. There's always so much going on that we rarely go to temple anytime other than the high holidays.

I am rachna and my husband and I are both Jewish. We currently belong to a conservadox EGALITARIAN (stressing the egalitarian its a biggie with me!) synogauge but might be moving.

I am not due until September! Right around the high holidays!

I'm Rachel. I am Jewish by upbringing. DH is not. We are raising our children (DD is 3, and expecting #2) spiritual with Jewish background. The reason I'm doing this is because I come from a mixed religion household and was always very confused as to what religion I was growing up. I was always told I was a jew, but my dad had his own beliefs, and neither of my parents practiced. Neither DH or I are very religious, as someone else said, I am more a high holiday Jew. I only go to temple once a year

We are from Chicago as well!
