I was thinking of holding weekly (or monthly or biweekly, if you wish) discussions on different jewish topics of interest. We can post infromation, resources and discussions on a specific topic and try to become more knowledgeable about our religion which, let's face it, has A LOT to be learned.
I wanted some suggestions from posters here, it can be anything from women's role in Judaism, to the brit milah, to our vision of G-d, to a specific Torah passage. Whatever you'd be intersted in learning more about, post it here and we can start having some interesting discussions.
sounds like a great idea! especially since there are so many of us with from different "sects" of Judaism, I am sure my perspective on what the role of women should be (I am conservative egalitarian and will not participate in any kind of judaism, or anything for that matter, where women cant do everything men can), is very different then others, would be interesting to discuss.
