Are your kids dressing up for Purim?

This is the plan so far. Each girl wants to be a different bracha (blessing). These are the costumes as of now: ice cream cone with strawberry icecream (shehakol), strawberry (hoadama), choclate chip cookie with brown and white chocolate chips (mezonos).

I have never made costumes in my life but my sister-in-law said I could do it in a very easy way by buying felt. I am really gonna try it but I just have to get myself to the fabric store.

Do any adults dress up? One year, I colored a beard on myslef and wore a white button down shirt, not too original.

Well, I'm sure they''l ask me at school to send David all dressed up. Last year he went as a cowboy. We also had a party at shul (the shul is actually in David's school) and David went as Fred Flintstone and Aaron as Batman. It was too cute. Here are the pics

I still don't know this year's costumes, though

I know that she's so young, but we're dressing her up as Queen Esther. I'm sewing up a pink cape to tie around her shoulders and topping it off with a pink foam crown from the store. Simple, but very cute.

I'm going to take her to the Chabad party, and I'll dress up as well. I'm wavering between dressing up as a cat or as Queen Vashti.

David went as Buzz Lightyear. When he said he wanted that I went into panic. I mean, to find a costume for a 4 year old in the middle of March is not easy, at least here. But I went to one store and they had ONE Buzz Lightyear costume left and it was a size 4. I took as a sign form G-d
