So I havent posted alot but I do lurk. I have been so busy with work its crazy. I only have had one day off this week. Everything is going pretty well with this pregnacy other then the hormones and the family is not making it any better!! Today i found out that my Step SIL who is pregnant, is very upset that I am also having a baby around the same time as her, I am also stealing the "show". What ever the heck that means. Well I found out today that she also bought furtility drugs off of the internet from another country because she wanted a baby so bad! She did not tell her DH. Shes not told anyone. I am so worried for that baby its crazy! Why didnt she just let things happen? I am frustrated that she even went to that level to be angry at me. She had know idea that we were NTNP, We really didnt tell anyone. But with all of these hormones I am sure I am taking this to a extreme, but it still really angers me. Any advise has anyone been threw something like this before??

I haven't been through it before, but just wanted to offer you some I would think it be exciting to have someone be pregnant at the same time to share all the experiences with. I hope she starts feeling differently, and if not don't let her get to you

About the drugs bought in a different country, all I can say is WOW! I can't believe it, especially without talking to her DH...

She sounds super Klassy! Does she normally act like that? Do you normally have a good relationship?

If she would have went to her doctor and asked for something like that I would not be as upset as I am. I mean why would she want to take thos. Who knows what they will do to her and that baby. I have always been that look downed on in my family and I thinks thats why shes mad that I am pregnant as well. Its just a bunch of drama that shes trying to rope me into and I really dont want to be involved with it. DH hates talking about that side of the family because how differently they treat us. So I had to vent some were.

i kind of know what your doing through... we haven't told my husbands side of the family yet that we are pregnant .. well on wednesday (think) my SIL announced she's pregnant . Due deccember 10th. and I'm scared that when we announce she will think we are trying to steal her thunder.. when we are due novemeber 22nd !!
i dont think it will really be my SIL that says these things I'm more worried about other people in the family i guess.. our last babies were due a month apart and the babies before that were due 4 months apart so we are always pregnant at the same time

I would, especially since your DH doesn't seem to care for them, distance myself from them. DH has a brother who is just a jerk and only cares for someone if there is some benefit to him. We just keep our distance and only interact at family get togethers.

Wow, yeah you got pregnant just to steal the show! lol She sounds like a real gem! Distance yourself, you don't need the stress!
