so yesterday morning I felt sick, but then as the day went on it started to let up. And this morning I feel fine. For the past week I've been feeling sick pretty much all day, with slight relief in the evenings.

I never had morning sickness at all with my first so I'm starting to feel a little nervous. I don't have any signs of m/c or anything, but of course you read online all kinds of stories... people with sickness during a m/c, or abrupt stopping of symptoms before m/c... or people who experience the same thing and have no problems in their pregnancy whatsoever!

It's pretty frustrating not being able to tell what's going on in there. Only 8 more days until my first appointment and ultrasound, but I was actually kind of enjoying the sickness and using it as a sign that everything was going ok.

So, please tell me your happy stories about how your sickness suddenly stopped after one week, and everything was fine.

I can tell you stories of how it suddenly stopped and then came back several days later with a vengeance

I have never had it just stop completely, but every pregnancy is so different, it's really not a good indicator, because you could just be lucky that it stopped early. I wouldn't worry too much- try to keep your mind off it.

I agree with Tanya. I don't use symptoms as an indicator of the health of the pregnancy because I was still getting new symptoms as I was miscarrying. Just enjoy your time that's free of nausea!

Try not to think about symptoms as being positive or negative. When I had my loss (blighted ovum), I was throwing up and feeling pregnant, and my belly was growing. Sac grows....baby doesn't.

I can totally relate to the morning sickness easing up though. I had a bad week of it from week 6-7, and then it sort of just got better. I had my u/s at 7 weeks and 1 day and baby was fine and had a heartbeat. Since then, I haven't thrown up once, but the nausea is still there occasionally, just not as bad. I find I still feel a little icky around dinner time, and I feel sick if I'm hungry.

I've been worried too, but at the same time, a lot of women have symptoms even when in the process of miscarrying. Just try to get excited for your ultrasound. I'm sure everything is just fine.

Maybe your body's going easy on you for a few days and it'll hit you again?

This happened to me yesterday!
I had been feeling very icky for the past week and when I woke up yesterday I felt fine. I freaked out a little bit, because my breasts weren't sore either. They were only a little sore before, but then I wasted a good portion of my day obsessing/analyzing both things.
By dinner time I was a little bit sick again and my breasts were a tiny bit sore again. I still had the aversions all day though.
I did spend a lot of my day napping/sleeping yesterday. I think that may have also made a difference.
I think our bodies may just be getting used to the hormone levels. I'm going to try to just enjoy feeling okay when it happens!

I felt good yesterday, and then today it's back...the constant nauseous feeling. It seems like I get a couple good days sprinkled in from time to time. I like to think that my kid is deciding to give mommy a break from the constant nausea during those times!

Eat something that usually triggers your MS and see what happens. I am on medication for my MS but there are still some guarantee puke foods that I can't eat and keep down.

Knocking on wood, I think mine is subsiding as well. The last couple of days seem to have been better. Just one time today I felt queezy, but it passed....Hope it stays that way for us both..

thanks for the comments. I did feel ok for a couple days and then it came back, but thankfully not as bad. And I was REALLY tired yesterday too, so I think things are going ok! Just 6 more days until my ultrasound!
